Re: Greggs
Greggs are shit. Used to work for a company that supplied their flavours and they treated their suppliers like shit. Clueless quality department too. Would never buy from there out of principle

Re: Greggs
Popped in Greggs for one of there Cheese and ham toasties. Asked if they could squirt some brown sauce in it, liven it up. Doris behind the counter wasn't having any of it. Sorry I can't give you any sauce, there is no way of charging for it.
Well don't charge me then, I'd have to! she said, because it's only for breakfast rolls. So it went on.
It was shit, dryer than Gandhi's flipflop. Won't be returning.

Re: Greggs
The best pasty I have ever tasted was on the way to Hull away. The Hornchurch coach stopped in a little town called GOOLE to have a few drinks in the Wetherspoons.

The little bakers next door did an "All Day Breakfast Pasty"... 10/10.

Debs. Freeze the butter. Grate it into the flour (keep it wrapped in foil to avoid as much contact with your warm hands as poss) then add the liquid component (quantities as per recipe)

Chill for longer than recommended. Bring back to room temp before rolling.

Quick and easy flaky pastry.

Re: Greggs
if you can sell a sausage roll for 95p and still turn a profit you have to wonder what the fuck is in it
